As a graduate of the University of South Florida, I earned a BA in Russian with concentrations in Economics and History. As a military veteran, I served on active duty in the United States Air Force from 1977-1986. As an intelligence analyst and linguist, I attended the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA from 1977-78 and 1982-83 where I studied Russian and Polish. I continue my service today as a member of the US Air Force Active Reserve.
